New Lewisville Center for the Creative Arts Set for Completion in August 2010.

The Greater Lewisville Arts Alliance (GLAA) presented its annual Angel Awards on December 13. The GLAA is dedicated to the development and promotion of the fine and performing arts for the enrichment of the quality of life in the greater Lewisville community. The ceremony was hosted by the Musical Feast Choral Society of Greater Lewisville, MF’s own Toby Rotman was recognized for her contribution’s to the organization.

Musical Feast participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new creative arts center.  The center will give the many arts groups in the Greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. The facility will feature a 296-seat theatre with acoustics designed for both speech and music.

Artistic Director Blair King announces 2009-10 Season

This is Mr. King’s second season with Musical Feast, “I am very excited about this new season, we have several new and  talented members and will be performing many wonderful works by Byrd, Bach, Mozart, Wolf, Vierne and others.

Musical Feast’s annual Valentine’s Weekend concert is scheduled for Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14, 2010. Both performances will be held at the The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation. The Saturday concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. And Sunday at 3 p.m.

 

Tickets are $15 at the door, $12 for seniors and students, and $7 for children.
