New Lewisville Center for the Creative Arts Set for Completion in August 2010.

The Greater Lewisville Arts Alliance (GLAA) presented its annual Angel Awards on December 13. The GLAA is dedicated to the development and promotion of the fine and performing arts for the enrichment of the quality of life in the greater Lewisville community. The ceremony was hosted by the Musical Feast Choral Society of Greater Lewisville, MF’s own Toby Rotman was recognized for her contribution’s to the organization.

 

 

Artistic Director Blair King announces 2009-10 Season

This is Mr. King’s second season with Musical Feast, “I am very excited about this new season, we have several new and  talented members and will be performing many wonderful works by Byrd, Bach, Mozart, Wolf, Vierne and others.

Musical Feast's Annual Spring concert is scheduled for Saturday, April 24 (7 p.m.) and Sunday, April 25 (3 p.m.), 2010. The theme of the concert is Green and Pleasant Land: Music of England.  Works of Parry, Stanford, Purcell, Howells, Handel, Vaughan Willams and more. Both performances will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, 602 N. Old Orchard Lane, Lewisville, TX, 75077. A reception will follow both concerts.

 

Tickets: $15 general admission; $12 students & seniors; $7 children.  Discounted tickets: $30 family of four; $10 per person for groups of ten or more.
